Specialist Registrars: 2 Year-5 Posts in Radionuclide Radiology
Application are invited for two year-five Radiology trainees with
an interest in Radionuclide Radiology to join the Severn School of
Radiology Training Programme. These established posts are RCR
accredited 5th year positions and provide the opportunity for
comprehensive training in all aspects of Radionuclide Radiology.
completion of the training will provide the necessary experience and
education to enable trainees to obtain a diagnostic ARSAC licence as
Consultant, and would count towards a CTC in full Nuclear Medicine
training. There is the opportunity to gain experience in PET/CT during
the time spent at Cheltenham Hospital.
These are one-year posts, to commence in approximately August 2008.
The posts are based mainly at the Royal United Hospital in Bath with
attachment to Southmead Hospital in Bristol and Cheltenham General
Hospital but with opportunities for further experience at other
designated centres in the region.
