Deanery End of Placement Survey
Deanery End of Placement Survey
The Quality and IT teams at the Severn Deanery have created an
End of Placement Survey for all trainees undertaking placements
within the Severn Deanery. The purpose of this is to monitor trainee
satisfaction – as a supplement to the
PMETB trainee survey. This
enables us to have a system which allows a more immediate view of
the quality of placements in order to implement positive change.
Information will be cascaded to Trusts and Schools at regular
periods during the year – once there are sufficient response rates
to assure trainees of their anonymity – we currently have had 1,200
responses and look forward to receiving more in due course.
The survey has been successfully piloted and was officially
launched in December 2008. The system is live and available for
input at any time. There is no "cut off" date. Trainees are asked to
complete the survey at the end of every placement.

Foundation trainees: Successful completion of the survey
generates a receipt for each placement, which will be required for
sign-off at the end of both F1 and F2.
Please note that submissions made through a Mac will not be
accepted as Mac keyboards are not compatible with the survey’s
verification software.
