Data Protection – End of Placement Questionnaire
The purpose of the new on-line trainee End of Placement
questionnaire is to identify areas of best practice and also concern
within trainee education. The information will provide a consistent
comparison of standards of education across specialties and Trusts
within the Deanery. This up-to-date information about standards of
educational performance will enable improvements to happen quickly, as
it is an additional tool supplementing the national, annual PMETB
survey. If areas of difficulty are identified by questionnaire, these
will be investigated before specific action is taken. The Severn
Deanery will handle all submissions in a confidential manner. The data
will be anonymised, as the system will generate aggregated statistics
using no fewer than three respondents from the same speciality. If
less than 3 trainees from one specialty reply, they will not be
reported. In terms of data released, it will be broken down within the
Deanery by: specialty, Trust and grade. This information will be
summarised and published on this website and more detailed information
will also be sent to relevant stakeholders. The data will be
handled by a person who is independent of any part of the trainee’s
education, namely the Information Technology and Quality Assurance
departments at the Severn Deanery. This page was last updated
